Toenail reconstruction is a cosmetic procedure. A specialial gel is layered on top of unsightly or misshapen nails so that the nail is more aesthetically pleasing. Please note: this is a temporary measure between pedicures in order to save the nail. Depending on the severity of the break this may not always be possible.
