- A photo of your lips MUST be sent to Polly on @lipblushbypolly or emailed to glam@makeupbypolly.com before booking in so Polly can confirm laser is the correct method for your removal. - Please note laser can only be done on lip blush which is outside of the lip border. Laser cannot be done on the lip tissue itself. - How many sessions are required? For permanent make up or facial tattoos, we recommend 2-4 sessions. However, salt and saline removal may be necessary instead of laser depending on how the pigment is fading. - If you are prone to coldsores, you must take Acyclovir tablets 5 days before and after the treatment. - Swelling, bruising, blistering will occur, healing takes 7-10 days. - The pigment can temporarily turn a grey/green colour, this is due to oxidisation of the pigments. Our method involves gently depositing a removal solution into the skin which causes the pigment to breakdown and pushes it out. With the removal treatment being salt based and containing natural ingredients, it is non-damaging to the skin. - Usually clients will notice lightening after the 2nd or 3rd session. However, to fully remove a tattoo the total number of sessions can range from 3-8.
