An ancient treatment to the feet. This treatment uses pressure point techniques to stimulate and soothe certain areas of the feet which can affect different systems of the body, bringing the whole body into balance. Fire cupping is an ancient TCM (traditional Chinese Medicine) treatment which uses glass cups placed onto the body. A flame is put into the cup and then removed before it is placed onto the body, this creates a vacuum. The vacuum holds the cups in place and draws a little of the skin & muscle up into the cups. This then lifts the tissues (muscle and fascia) to release tension & increases blood flow to the area. Reiki is an energy healing treatment. Reiki (pronounced "ray" "key") means universal energy. During the treatment you lay on the couch - you are covered throughout the treatment. The Reiki therapist then lays their hands on or just above you to channel the reiki energy, moving around the body during the treatment. A Reiki treatment can help you relax, feel more balanced, let go of pent up emotions and generally promote a sense of wellbeing. Each person will have a unique experience of reiki. Some people report feeling heavy and relaxed, others may feel as though they are floating. Often clients can see colours in their vision or feel a warm sensation.
