Podiatry Initial Consultation and Treatment
Initial appointments are upto forty minutes long, giving the podiatrist an opportunity to get to know you and your feet, to formulate a treatment plan and start on treatment. Your podiatrist will take a note of your current foot or toenails issues, your medical history, any sports or physical activities that you perform and footwear. This appointment will proceed to podiatry treatment with the use of sterilised podiatry instruments such as nail nippers, scalpels and podiatry drill. Treatment can include trimming of your nails, reduction of hard skin and corns as well as more comlex treatment of ingrown toenail, fungal skin or nail, cracked heels or verrucae.
