Reiki
A gentle energy therapy which involves the client lying on a couch while the practitioner lays hands either on the body or above the body, in different hand positions on the head, torso, arms, legs and feet. Each position is held for a couple of minutes, allowing the channelling of the Reiki energy through the practitioner to the client. The client remains clothed throughout the whole session.

Paraffin Wax Therapy
Paraffin wax treatment is offered with a manicure, and is particularly suitable for more mature clients who may have dry, dehydrated skin, or who suffer from rheumatism or arthritis. The wax is melted to a temperature of approx. 40C, and is applied by immersing the hands or feet in a wax bath in several layers to build up a thick glove or boot of wax. Once the wax is applied, the hands or feet are covered in a plastic bag and placed in a warm electric glove or boot for 10-15 minutes. After this time, the wax is removed and a hand/forearm massage is performed.

Holistic and Beauty Therapist based in the beautiful surroundings of Wrest park in Silsoe, bedfordshire.
It is important to me, and therefore my mission, to make sure that my Clients feel welcomed, relaxed and safe, and leave feeling refreshed, revitalised and renewed. So I have worked at creating such an environment here at Wrest Park.
