Contact calls are scheduled for people who are currently engaged with the service and have had an assessment within the past 6 months.
Contact calls can be scheduled for many reasons either by the service coordinator or the client.

Telephone Assessment
An information gathering session, carried out by phone, which aims to allocate people to the most appropriate form of support based on their current situation. The session will take between 40 and 60 minutes. We may ask some questions you might find challenging but this is because your safety is our priority. Please take this call in a location where you feel able to talk openly about your health and the reasons for your referral to the Wired Counselling Service. |~| (1 hr)

About Wired Counselling Service Wirral
The Counselling Service for Unpaid Carers, registered with Wired Carers Service.
Counselling can sometimes help if you are feeling overwhelmed or just want to talk to someone in confidence. We offer up to 6 weekly, 50 minute, remotely delivered sessions, to help you explore the problems you are currently experiencing.
The service can currently only respond to carers who fall into the mild to moderate range but will support those who might benefit from a more specialised response to access alternative services.
